Owner, Keyrenter Metro
Shayla Green was born into real estate the moment her mother took her to her first open house. No, her mother is not a real estate agent; however, most weekends were spent pulling up carpet, tearing down wallpaper and going to open houses. In 2003, Shayla moved to the DC Metro area to complete her post education at Howard University and still found herself driving and looking at homes. After living, working and playing between Upper Marlboro, Mitchellville, Glenn Dale, Bowie, Crystal City, Silver Spring, Tyson’s Corner and Washington, D.C., Shayla was ready to take her 10+ years of experience in marketing and advertising and combine that with her love for real estate.
So, all those DIY weekends courtesy of her mother now make sense. It was those childhood memories, coupled with a career in marketing, and mixed in with exposure and a network of master plumbers, electricians, general contractors, and more, that Shayla has turned this childhood memory and passion into a skillset and business that is dedicated to you!
